The 1975- Still at their very best…

If you’ve recently attended the 1975 concert, well it might’ve been your last chance for a while…

As the 1975 are slowly finishing up their tour ‘still at their very best’, ready for a long, well-deserved break. However, during one of their shows, lead singer Matty Healy reassures everyone by saying that it’s not permanent, the band is still together, with plenty more excitement to come in the future.

This is the 6th tour by the alternative, UK band and is a continuation of the 1975’s 5th tour “At their Very Best” which promoted their latest album ‘Being Funny in a Foreign Language’.

I was lucky enough to get the chance to see them on their 5th tour after being a lifelong fan and it was by far my favourite concert I've attended. The whole night was well put together from the stage decor with all the TVs and lamps, to the song choices and talks in between. It really was set up to be a memorable night. Too bad it ended. I could have sat there for hours.

In between these two tours, however, the 1975 stepped up to fill in for the lovely Lewis Capaldi as the main act for the Reading and Leeds festival. This night was the anniversary of their debut album ‘The 1975’ which was ten years ago (Ik how crazy!), so they dedicated the whole night to those special songs that started it all.

Even though the band deserves a break we will still miss them a lot but, during this time we can cherish their accomplishments and get excited about what’s next.
